Last week I had a week off for Spring Break, and I went to Chicago to see my best friend Emily. I absolutely LOVE Chicago. The city is so beautiful, and clean, people are friendly, there is so much to do, and the food and shopping is amazing. I was in awe at the beauty of the Chicago skyline, particularly at night. We went to a beautiful greenhouse called the Garfield Conservatory, the Science and History Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, the top of the Willis Tower (which is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere at 103 stories tall!), Milennium Park, the Art Institute, the Navy Pier, saw the Cubs play the Dodgers at Wrigley Stadium, and shopping on the Magnificent Mile. It was amazing trip, and I loved spending so much time with a dear friend. We ate the best ribs of my life at a place called Mickeys, and real Chicago deep-dish pizza at Lu Malnati's, and I had to have my hot dog at the baseball game. Here are some pictures of my trip: It was sunny and warm for three days of our trip, so I got to see the city in the sun, in the fog and pouring rain. It was fun.

Garfield Conservatory. Absolutely beautiful, and amazing to me that this is in the middle of a big city.

We ate at this charming cafe one afternoon

This is a German submarine that was caught by the US off of the coast of Africa in WW II. They built the museum around this ship.

This was cool. You could stand in ftont of this projection on the wall, and the butterflies would land on your shadow.
This is th World's largest, and most expensive doll house. It contains the world's smallest printed bible. It's mini. The furnishings were immaculate.
A tornado that you could control
The next day we went to the Shedd Museum , which overlooks Lake Michigan. It was extrememly windy, and cold and rainy.
