because i have been experiencing severe wrist pain for the past six months. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life, for prayer/priesthood blessings, awa loving, amazing and supportive family, friends-- including my roommates and my new beau :) , and great and Home and visiting teachers-- and everyone's prayers in my behalf. It took five months and five different doctors to figure out what was wrong. Details include:
-- 3 months of physical therapy, being treated for tendenitis
-- a cortizone shot in each wrist, which backfired, causing worse pain than before, and making daily functionalities extremely painful and hard to do
-- 2+ weeks wearing wrist braces 24/7
-- hand specialist telling me I had nerve damage, and wanting to remove the nerve on top of my wrist
--nerve conduction study. Ouch! But no nerve damage :) Yay!
-- final diagnosis: Cysts on each wrist-- probably the best prognosis, because it can be removed, and i won't have this chronic pain for too much longer (hopefully :)
What now? surgery to remove them- one at a time. I appreciate your prayers this week.
Blessings: can get rides to work with my friend who lives in my complex; joined dinner group, and only have to cook once every 3 wks during week; roommates so kind and helpful; Ted so helpful and treats me so well; grateful this happened when i am single, and don't have kids to take care of with this intense pain, and I can afford to get my hair done (It would hurt too bad to wash and style it myself)
now for pics:
last sunday, in mid dec. the temp was 50 degrees. these were taken at park across from where i live
